From plum trees grown in Sapa that are cultivated naturally using traditional methods of the Red Dao and HMong ethnic groups, the plums used to create the unique flavor of Plum Wine are harvested entirely by hand, fermented with upland sticky rice wine and rock sugar to retain the most typical flavours: A bit of forest flower, woody smell, faintly astringent taste….
